Moving house…new art collection etc etc

So it’s been pretty mad recently ( I know what’s new? lol)

I moved out of Islington which I really miss :( I’ve lived there more or less all my life so I guess it was time for a change :)

Moving house is always so stressful and also you get to see how much junk you really own. My new place is much smaller and I need to fit the equivalent of 4 wardrobes ( from my old double room) into two wardrobes in a single room. This has proved challenging but also got my creative juices flowing.

I had a whole chest of draws full of jewellery in my own room which is no longer feasible in my new room due to space. So in order to save space I put together this hanging jewellery board, which I made myself. All I do is hang the Jewellery onto the board meaning I have free draw space (yay!). I bought the floral b/w paper from Paper Chase and it goes so well with the rest of the room which I’m really chuffed about.

Below pic: My Jewellery Board! I love it!!!

So whilst moving house and all that good stuff I also sketched together a new fashion art collection. All my illustrations are transferred onto greeting cards which can be purchased via my art website www.lovegenevieve.co.uk . My new designs are really something different. It has a pop arty feel to it. You’ll totally love it.

My greeting card range will also be available to purchase in Brick Lane beginning of June so I’ll keep you posted. At present you can buy them at 4 Seasons Shop in Islington ( www.4seasonsshop.co.uk )

Below: One of my recent illustrations all done by hand.

Now I better get back to my emails as I have so many to reply to…
