American Continental School Catwalk Show
I went to the event with my friend whom I now officially refer to and constantly call ‘Bella’! We got a bit carried away eating at Busaba’s by Selfridges that we literally had to rush to the venue and luckily made it on time. I work with a lot of emerging brands so am always keen to see what new talent is out there as it is something I am very passionate about so was really excited about attending the show.
The venue was completely packed so I just positioned myself near the entrance which worked in my favour actually. I managed to get a really good view of the collections being showcased which was great!
The Catwalk show was showcasing a range of designs from first year to final year students consisting of both menswear and womenswear, with inspiration taken from the concept of structure, including within pattern cutting of 3D geometric shapes, textiles and creative drape – from sculptural, rigid structure to soft sculpture that can be worn on the body.
Watch my filmed footage of the show below :)
I loved the make-up look used on the models and lashes. The Make-up was carried out by the fantastic ‘Session School’ and models wore feathers on top of their eyelashes to create a fabulously feminine yet striking look (see below)
